Hi! I'm a weirdness magnet and have a few ghost stories to tell. One of my sisters
died recently. On the night she died I dreamed about her. I dreamed she was ill
and going back and forth from being in a lot of pain to feeling distant. I
tried to get her to go to the hospital but she wouldn't or couldn't. Something
beautiful came and told her she could go with "her", and every time she touched
her, peace came until she decided to go with "her". Not long after she died. I
thought I heard someone yelling, (it sounded like her but I ignored that) on
our porch, "Is anyone home?", which was odd because our porch door is always
locked unless we are expecting someone. I went downstairs and opened the door
and said come in, but no one was there. Then I heard heavy steps walking around
our apartment. A few years ago I was coming home from the grocery store with
my arms full of groceries, and the cat underfoot. I was trying to find my keys,
when the cat jumped back and cried like someone had stepped on him, and the
locked door opened. No one was in the house. This happened two more times
as well as hearing footsteps in the house when I was alone one month. Five years ago when I lived in Carterville, my husband and I were getting ready for bed and
we heard this tapping sound which proceded to follow me around the trailer. This
