Springfield Ghost Society Members present for investigation: Debbie, Craig, Ron
History:
Client lives in single wide trailer with her sister. They've lived in this trailer since Sept 2022 and activity started about 3 months after moving in.
This trailer belonged to a friend who lived in it before. The friend told client she did remember feeling like something sat on the bed when she lived there.
Things happening: Her bed shakes just about every night. Sister has complained her bed shakes also. Feels like someone sits down on the bed. Client feels whoever it is likes to hide things. They find the objects later in a weird place. She hears noises in her bedroom. Lately, her bedroom is off the kitchen and she heard what sounded like the kitchen cabinet next to her bedroom door open and slam shut.
Unexplained activity has increased since moving in.
Investigation:
We arrived at 8pm. After introductions, we were given a tour of the home and the client went over what has happened since she’s lived there. Her sister was present for the investigation. They do have 2 dogs but the dogs were off premises during our time there.
At 8:10pm I set a game camera up in the master bedroom on a table facing the bed, a game camera up in the sister’s bedroom on a dresser facing the bed and a game camera up in the living on a storage tub facing toward the couch and the hallway to the bathroom. I took pictures periodically all over the home. I put a H4N Zoom audio recorder in the living room just in front of the television and I carried an Olympus digital audio recorder on my person. I placed a motion activated cat toy ball on the master bed and one on the sister’s bed. Around 9:30pm I setup a laser facing down the hallway towards the bathroom. It didn’t last very long but at one point I noticed out of the corner of my eye it looked as if the laser went off but when I looked at it directly it was on. Not sure what to think of that probably was nothing. The laser started fading shortly after that.
One time during the investigation I had just walked out of the master bedroom and Craig was with me. I thought Ron was in the master bathroom because I could hear moving around when I was in the master bedroom. He had set his camera up in the master bathroom so I thought he was moving it around. When Craig and I walked out into the living Ron was standing there working with his camera. On my audio recorder in the living room you can hear our conversation about thinking Ron was in the bathroom but there is a voice that says “I think you’re being childish”. The client and sister were sitting on the couch so it’s possible it could have been one of them. (Since doing the reveal we have determined this to be one of the clients talking)
Another possible evp I got on the audio recorder in the living room was a voice saying “Johnny”. No one was talking. You can hear someone walk through the room. I talked with the client and she didn’t know a Johnny but talked with the previous owners and they had an Uncle Johnny who had passed. We’re not sure if this is who this voice is referring to but it’s a possibility.
We were beginning to turn off the lights in the home and my game camera in the master bedroom picked up a voice saying “you move”. No one was in the room at the time.
Also we were just in the beginning of the investigation and my game camera in the master bedroom picked up what sounds like a “male voice”. Could not understand what was said. No one was in the room at the time.
Craig was in the master bedroom setting up his video camera at the foot of the bed when my game camera caught a black orb move over the bed towards his direction and disappear. It’s unusual to see a dark orb, I’m not sure what it means.
Craig also picked up a few evps. One evp was recorded at the same time the “male voice” of mine was recorded. His said “can’t keep us down”. (There's a strong possibility this is the client talking)
He shows on his audio recording the time of our conversation about the shower dripping where I got “I think you're being childish”, he recorded someone cough.
During my recording of our conversation of Craig making noise where I first got what I thought was an evp of “uh-oh” I found out Craig yawned at that time so I debunked it. Then there was a weird recording that sounded like my voice but was distorted. Everyone agreed it was just that, a distortion of my voice so that was debunked. But on Craig’s recorder before my uh-oh he picked an evp that sounds like it says “don’t show ‘em a reaction”. I didn’t get it on my recorder.
Craig also got an evp about an hour into the investigation where asked what’s your name. He got an evp that sounds like “Claymore” or grandma.
Craig’s other evps: In the living room he picked up an odd sound which he thought it was a person responding with “I’ll say” after everyone was talking about the bathroom door being hard to close. It’s also possible it’s his stomach growling so this one is iffy.
The “extra conversation” is a recording of me talking but it sounds like another conversation is going on with me talking.
“Take care” was at the beginning of the clip as we were packing up to leave.
“Hey Bud” sounds like a female talking to an animal or person.
Ron did not get any evidence on this investigation.
I think with everything that the clients have experienced and the evidence we collected on our investigation there is reason to believe paranormal activity is happening in this home. We feel further investigations would be helpful in finding out more of who is haunting this home.
