Date: March 16, 2002

Time: 8:30 pm

Equipment: EMF Meter, video camera, still camera, audio recorder

Members Present: Debbie Lowery, Ken Lowery, Diane Senalik, Krista, Sheri Sheppard, Gayle Hanson, John Winterbauer, Becky Hauk, Jim Hauk, Tamie Saint James, Sharon Guernsey

We started our investigation around 8:50 pm, after being briefed by the owners on what has been happening in the house. We walked though the main level and then went to the basement. As soon as we entered the basement Krista felt a very strong feeling of sadness and anxiety. Before leaving the basement I felt as though something was standing on the basement steps, as though it didn't want us to leave.

Sharon got a feeling of intense sadness in the breakfast nook.

I noticed on the 2nd floor there were many pieces of antique furniture. There is a balcony that overlooks the living room on the second floor. Krista and Becky both had a feeling of approval in this area. Krista felt someone might have jumped off this balcony but did not hit the ground. This could be where the hanging took place, if the rumor is true. Tamie got shivers in the attic bedroom. It was hard to breath in this room for several of us.

10:00 pm
I set my camcorder up in the dining room because several people were getting EMF meter readings. About 5 to 6 minutes into the taping my camcorder shut off by itself. I restarted it. Becky set her camcorder up in the basement.

10:10 pm
I walked from the dining room into the kitchen and noticed what looked like mist or smoke in the doorway. It didn't last long.

I didn't get any noticeable EMF or Thermal readings anytime during the night.

Pictures were taken throughout the night.

10:30 pm
A group of us were in the basement in the back storage room. I was holding the boston terrier puppy that the owners have. Krista was working the dowsing rods. Krista was announcing what direction the rods were moving, pointing out the movement of the spirit but what I found interesting was the reaction of the puppy. A split second before Krista would announce which direction the spirit was moving the puppy's head would move in that precise direction. It seemed the puppy could and would watch the spirit as it moved. This happened several times.

11:15 pm
Jim, Tamie, John, and I were in the basement talking when we all heard what I described as the whoosh of a child jumping on a bean bag chair. It sounded like it came from the back storage room in the basement. Jim immediately ran upstairs to see if anyone was in the rooms above us who could have made the noise. He came back down and said no one was up there. We went into the back storage room and there sat a childs bean bag chair looking as though a child was sitting in it.

12:15 am
Investigation was over. We left the premises.

While viewing my tape the next day I could hear that whoosh sound we heard the night before. It was faint though since my camcorder was set up in the dining room. I could tell it was the right sound because Jim cam into the room one minute later looking around. There was no one else in the room. What was exciting was just before the whoosh sound happened the video camera picked up a child's voice singing what sounds like, "Copy cat, Copy cat, Copy cat".

At the very beginning of the tape right after it shut itself off and I turned it back on a whisper of a voice is heard. It sounds like a woman's voice saying, "Let's go home, this goes on and goes on and goes on."

Out of 2 rolls of film I got one picture with a possible global in the dining room.

Another curious thing that happened was when we were leaving for the night we had all gathered in the living room to go over our material when Gayle noticed the huge heavy chandelier that hung in the living room was twirling one direction and then the other ever so slowly. At one point it seemed to stop only to start again. This chandelier hangs from a 30 ft chain in the center of the living room ceiling. There were no drafts that would be strong enough to cause this. It seemed to be acting as a pendulum trying to give us a message. Hopefully at our next visit to this fine home it will reveal what this message is.
