Date: June 7, 2003

Time: 10:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m

Members Present: Debbie, Ken, John, Diane, Barb, Philip, Howard, Barb L.

When I first entered the Hotel, I asked someone if I could change into cooler apparel. I was allowed to enter and go into the bathroom to change. As I began to shut the door, I lost my grip on the doorknob. The door felt as though it had been pulled from my hand. It shut rather hard. It gave me quite a start, but I figured there was probably some type of air current or vacuum that caused this.

I spoke briefly with the owner on the second floor about the building and she supplied me with some of the history, which I found intriguing.

As the group ascended the stairway to the third floor, almost immediately, I experienced cold chills. I felt it was not a single presence that I was feeling, but rather the whole of them (I'm not sure exactly how many).

I entered the room with the red chair in it (I believe this may have been the bridal suite). I placed my hand on the wooden armrest right where a hand would have rested, as I was particularly attracted to this part of the chair. When I did so, I felt only feelings of great warmth and comfort. I believe I was merely picking up on the former energy.

When we got to the fourth floor, I really didn't feel too much (except that the place did look creepy) until I entered the topmost corridor that ran lengthwise to the other floors. The first door to the right was the one from which I felt the strongest presence. It was an ugly feeling - rather frightening. I felt a male presence in it and that this presence was filled with cynicism and bitterness, perhaps even disdain. As I stood in this room, I felt a presence frequently come and go, as I was experiencing a chill often.

After a few of the members had completed investigating that area and had walked away from that corridor, I noticed a piece of wood or something snap in the doorway. This may have been a delayed reaction to somebody stepping on something as they exited the area.

I got the impression that the majority of the brothel had been contained in this upper corridor, as I felt the presence of women as well.

Three of us together investigated the basement. I felt a chilling presence in one area of the basement near the door that was locked. Again, I felt this to be a male presence.
